I am a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Communications. Most of my work career was based in Sports Marketing as I worked for the San Francisco Forty-Niners and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Marketing departments. I have one son, who is a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. I enjoy working with schools to educate families about the benefits of a strong math foundation. I love to travel, go to the beach, and walk my Jack Russell Terrier.

Wendy

Director of Communications
I graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a Bachelor of Science in journalism. I spent most of my career managing public relations and corporate communications for various technology companies. I have been married for 14 years and we have two children. Once they were older, I started volunteering my time at their respective schools. Mathnasium is a great environment and I always enjoy seeing the students’ faces light up when they see their math skills grow! As a family, we enjoy spending time at the beach and paddleboarding around the Tampa Bay area.

I come from Fort Lauderdale but have lived in Tampa ever since I attended USF. I'm an avid ultimate frisbee player and spend most of my free time playing and coaching youth teams. I love working at Mathnasium because I love seeing the kids grow to learn math in ways they didn't before.

Wilman

Director of Center Operations
I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and recently achieved a degree in software development. In high school, I loved participating in math competitions, especially the national level ones, because we had the chance to visit other states with our classmates. Having first tutored students in mathematics back in high school for community service hours, I have over 10 years of experience in tutoring this subject. I love working at Mathnasium because of the positive learning environment. The students are not the only ones benefiting from their experience here; the instructors feel privileged and honored to have been part of the students’ growth in mathematical comprehension and confidence in problem-solving.

In my spare time I enjoy playing piano and guitar, swimming, mountain skiing, and scuba diving. I work at Mathnasium because teaching is one of the most rewarding and satisfying phenomena of human’s activities. Moreover, it makes me believe that teaching is the ultimate form of knowledge since one must be proficient in this knowledge before passing it to someone else.
